JESSIE DEMPSTER

DISCIPLE

INSTRUCTOR

At a young age, Jessie was captivated by the grace and power of martial artists in movies and competitions.

He began his martial arts journey with various styles in pursuit of deepening his understanding of combat. He trained under skilled instructors, absorbing knowledge and refining his skills in each discipline. Throughout his eclectic training background, Jessie has never lost sight of the fundamental principles that underpin all martial arts: discipline, respect, and perseverance.

Jessie devoted himself to the disciplined and rigorous training regimen of Shaolin Kung Fu and began practising Tai Chi for health and relaxation purposes.

Jessie continued to deepen his practical understanding of Tai Chi, Western Boxing, and Wing Chun, concentrating more on

self-defence applications.

Under the tutelage of Master Leo Au Yeung since 2017, he has honed his abilities in each style, blending their unique techniques and philosophies into his own martial repertoire. Besides training, Jessie  actively takes part and supports his Sifu in external conferences, seminars and exhibitions.

Jessie, driven by a desire to share his knowledge and passion for Chinese Kung Fu with others, is honoured to assist at his Sifu’s school and guide students of all ages and backgrounds on their own martial arts journey.

Today, Jessie continues to train and explore new avenues of martial arts expression. Whether he’s sparring in the ring, practicing forms, or sharing his knowledge with others, Jessie remains committed to pursuing martial excellence and personal growth.
