Wing Chun is a very unique and scientific form of martial arts. Wing Chun's specialty is in close contact combat, using quick punches with a tight defence, coordinated through agile stances for a quick advance. The effectiveness of Wing Chun is achieved by well coordinated attacks with simultaneous defence and vise versa, yet delivering the correct amount of energy, whilst maintaining flexible and relaxed.

'Chi Sau' is a sequence of techniques which meant to develop responsiveness, positional movement, overpower and restrain your opponent, precise control of power and energy.

The practice of Wing Chun starts with three basic hand sequences namely:
Sil Lim Tau" (little idea), "Chum Kiu" (bridge seeking arm), "Biu Gee" (thrusting fingers). Then the serious of students will learn "Muk Yan Ghong" (wooden dummy), "Luk Dim Boom Gaun" (six & a half point pole) and finally "Bart Cham Dao" (eight cutting double knives).

Profile of Chief Instructor Leo Au Yeung
Leo was born in Hong Kong and his first Wing Chun training started in 1995, under Grandmaster Ip Chun.

In 1997 Leo came to the UK to study and pursue a new life but he still returned to Hong Kong every year to train under Grandmaster Ip Chun.

In 2001, Leo joined the Ip Man Martial Arts Association and became a life time and registered Instructor of Yip Man Martial Art Association Hong Kong which was graded by Grandmaster Ip Chun.

In 2002, Leo was introduced to Samuel Kwok by Ip Chun. Since then Leo has trained under his supervision.

Having settled in the UK, Leo started to teach Wing Chun privately but later on he opened his first school after great demand from several martial arts enthusiasts.

In 2008, Leo was invited by the Hong Kong film producer to be the choreographer the New 'Ip Man' (teacher of Bruce Lee) movie. He worked closely with the famous Hollywood actor/director Sammo Hung from the U.S. TV series "Martial Law". Leo responded to coaching the action crew Wing Chun and providing advices on design the action scenes.
